The
Master course in Event Marketing and
Management is a full-time, intensive,
one-year training course (including
a six-month internship), stretching
from October to October, comprising:
Training modules based on:
key
activities in the area
of event management:
marketing (strategic,
image, operational),
concept/design of the
event, selling the event
and its derivative products,
communication (staging
of the event, participants
and speakers in or outside
the media, techniques),
operational project
management (definition,
piloting, follow-through),
legal aspects, general
management (financing,
controlling and reporting),
human resources management,
etc.
the
specific features of different
areas of event management:
sports, culture, arts,
education, humanitarian,
etc. and those specified
by corporations
an
approach to event management
through history, culture
and sociology
the
students' personal development
numerous professional thematic
visits to Frenchand foreign
companies operating in event management
or participating in the actual
events, allowing students to become
familiar with the concept, preparation
and implementation of events
individual and group projects:
research assignment, marketing
and commercial survey
a seminar of several days in France
or abroad
a full-time six-month internship
in a company specialized in event
management
The postgraduate course
in Event Marketing and Management is mainly run by:
the contribution and experience of a number of
professionals from the realm of event marketing regular members of our teaching staff who are
committed to ISTEC's active pedagogical approach
and who complete the
training program with their contributions the Director of Postgraduate Studies, who looks
after the pedagogical coherence and smooth
organization of the
course, as well as the active and personalized tutoring
of the students
The course will be
mainly run in French, and partly in English.
At the end of the one
year program, the students present their research
assignment and their internship to a panel of professionals.
Those students who will successfully complete a six-month
internship and whose overall marks all throughout
the course and in all different areas will have been
considered of a sufficient level, will be able to
graduate and be granted the Master in Event Marketing
and Management by the End-of-Studies Examiners Panel.
